Ms. Nicholaides joined Jones & Associates Communications in 2017. She is responsible for researching, writing and editing engaging and impactful content, including press releases, website content, magazine and newsletter articles, brochures, social media posts, and a variety of other materials.

A former journalist with The Record of Bergen County as well as several North Jersey Media Group community print and online newspapers, she brings 22 years of news reporting experience to her work.

Ms. Nicholaides is an award-winning writer who has covered local news, chronicling and capturing the pulse of the Meadowlands area and its evolution. Her articles reflect the people and issues affecting communities. Specialties include healthcare, education, social issues, environment, politics, entertainment, profiles, and planning and zoning.

In addition, Ms. Nicholaides has written about how national policies and issues affect local residents. She has received honors for her writing and investigative reporting on diversity, civil rights, health issues, local history, and more.

A graduate of Montclair State University, Ms. Nicholaides holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing, and a minor in Journalism. She also holds an English teacher certification. In her spare time, she writes fiction, plays guitar, and provides unsolicited advice about journaling and sentence structure to her niece and nephew.
